Background Don Romantic:
Offspring by Don Romantic continuously produced top results all over Europe in 2008 and 2009. In Sweden 2009, the Don Romantic son Don Perignon won the Foal of the Year award in Flyinge. The winner in Jönköping, Cassius LM and the runner up Riona, both after Don Romantic, which makes him the leader of the Swedish 3-annual statistics of the gaits. 88 % of the offsprings have a diploma or class 1. Romantic sired the Danish Filly of the Year and the most expensive filly ever at auction in Denmark. The best Hanoverian foal of the year, selected at the World Championship in Verden, was also by Don Romantic.
Don Romantic was the Foal of the Year in Denmark in 1999 and 2002, and he was the winning colt in Herning. At the Danish utility test in autumn 2002, he won the dressage, and also became overall winner. He had among other things, 10 for gallop and development opportunities, and 4 times the 9.5 from the testriders. In the Danish 4-year Championship 2003, he was the outstanding winner in the qualifiers, semi-finals and finals of Vilhelmsborg.
The first three stallions in Don Romantic's pedigree has competed successfully in dressage at the international level.
In Don Romantics first crop was a son approved in Oldenburg, and three sons in Herning. That included Blue Hors Develino, who was also the winning stallion, and the performance test winner Herning in Denmark 2007. 2009 was Damino SD the performance test winner in Sweden and with Flashdance IM, he had another son approved.
Background Honey Pie:
Chirac 611 competed in dressage and started in the Olympics in Seoul in 1988. His father Chagall 455, who is an elite stallion, has gotten very good results, especially in dressage with several offspring in S-class and three who were selected for the Olympics in Seoul, where one of them became a silver medalist in the team and took bronze individually. Utrillo 432, also an elite stallion, did extremly well in competition in all disciplines and several of his sons became elite stallions themselves.
Imperator 529 competed in S-class jumping and participated in the Olympics. His father Gaspari 340 became a Swedish champion in dressage and participated in the Olympics in 1960 and 1964. He has four offspring after him, who have participated in the Olympic games. Gaspari had an extremely good inheritance of dressage talents. |
